DESCRIPTION

Looking for a plastic free dish brush? With it’s wooden handle, sisal and palm fiber bristles, this sustainable swap helps you replace steel wool or plastic pot scrubbers in the kitchen or use for general household cleaning. Stiff but malleable bristles on this scrubber are specially designed to handle heavy duty cleaning; ideal for scrubbing out stains, stuck on food, removing labels from jars, tub and shower build-up, (we even used them to scrub up paint from concrete). Works on a variety of surfaces, especially great for cast-iron! Comes with twine loop for hanging.

100% Biodegradable! Demote it to outdoor cleaning and then into your compost bin once it reaches its end-life.

DETAILS

  • Wooden Handle
  • Plant Sisal and Palm Fibers
  • 100% Compostable and biodegradable
  • Zero waste, plastic free

CARE

Hang to dry in between uses or on a dry towel to allow bristles to drain. Never leave submerged in water as it will wear on the wood causing it to crack or may cause the natural bristles to fall out. If the wood cracks, bacteria can enter the cracks. Wood is naturally antimicrobial, but if you need to clean your brush, clean bristles with vinegar to kill bacteria.

ABOUT ME.MOTHER EARTH

At Me.Mother Earth, we are a husband and wife team local to Las Vegas. Alberto is originally from Rio, Brazil, and myself, Amanda, grew up in Washington state. As a couple who love to travel, we've been fortunate to see some of the most beautiful places on our Mother Earth. But we also witnessed first hand how our “throw away” culture is devastating our planet. We believe in the concept of progress, not perfection, and feel every individual has the ability to make an impact. By swapping to earth-friendly products, we can help reduce plastic waste, send a clear message to corporate polluters, and provide a cleaner planet for all. We stand behind our quality and believe you will love our products as much as we do.
