DESCRIPTION

Set of 3 reusable, hand sewn, cotton cloth bowl covers made from GOTS certified 100% organic cotton with charming bird folk print. These cloth bowl covers are unwaxed for breathability and work well for covering salads and other produce that need to breathe, rising bread dough, fermentation jars, picnic table food to keep out the pesky flies and other unwelcome insects and more. They are easy to wash and care for.

Sizes include 1 Medium (8.5”), 1 Large(10”), and 1 XL(12”). The extra large works well for those extra large salad or potato salad bowls or for rising dough.

The folk art bird prints are by artist Jaimie MacGibbon and the covers are hand made by Your Green Kitchen.

WHY ORGANIC COTTON IS BETTER THAN NON-ORGANIC COTTON

Certified Organic Cotton consumes very little water compared to conventional cotton. Being certified organic also means that no harmful inorganic pesticides and fertilizers were used meaning there is little to no water pollution, so you conserve water AND keep ground and above ground water safer every time you choose organic.

Conventional cotton, on the other hand, requires a huge amount of fertilizers, water and pesticides, resulting in water pollution, harm to good insects as well as bad, too much nitrogen in the water and possible residue on the clothes you wear or the items you use from it.

So definitely, when purchasing anything made from cotton, go organic.
