FRESC Children’s toothbrush handles are carved from one solid piece of bamboo. That means these toothbrush handles are 100% solid bamboo with no adhesives holding it together and so are 100% natural and 100% compostable too. The bamboo handles are dipped in eco paint of bright pink or cloud white.

The soft bristles and smaller, narrower toothbrush head of this FRESC brush are designed for a child’s smaller mouth. The bristles are BPA-free nylon to hold up to the recommended twice or more daily brushing, as well as last for at least the 2-3 month time period recommended for replacement.

WHY BAMBOO

Bamboo is a quick to regenerate plant with a minimum environmental impact. It’s considered an eco-friendly and sustainable alternative to wood and plastic.

Bamboo is actually in the grass family and can grow several inches PER DAY! Bamboo can be grown quickly in many parts of the world, including the United States, where the right conditions exist. The best conditions in nature for millennia have existed in parts of China where entire bamboo forests exists of many varieties and species of bamboo.

WHY ONE SOLID PIECE OF BAMBOO MATTERS

Bamboo items not carved from one solid piece of bamboo are made of either strips of bamboo or bamboo pulp. In both instances, the bamboo is held together by adhesives. When purchasing bamboo toothbrushes, or other items that may come in contact with your mouth, such as chopsticks, look for those that are carved from one solid piece rather than strips or pulp.
