LOOFAH ECO DISH SPONGE 

Our 100% biodegradable Loofah Dish Sponge comes in a 3-pack and replaces traditional foam and plastic dish sponges for dishwashing and household cleaning. The double layer loofah sponge softens in water and then expands in size to work like a typical dish sponge, but without the plastic waste. It works great on dishes, tile, floors, bathtubs, showers and other items that need a strong, durable scrubber without the harshness found in many heavy duty scrubbers. It has a cotton loop for hanging to dry and its washable. 

WHAT IS LOOFAH?

Loofah is the fiber left over after drying out cucumber shaped gourd. It's durable and can absorb a lot of water! As it absorbs water, it softens and becomes extremely spongelike. It's a sustainable resource that is also biodegradable right in your own compost bin.

CARE

Rinse, squeeze excess water, and hang to allow the water to drain after each use. You can soak in vinegar or submerge in boiling water for 5 minutes to disinfect or toss into your washing machine.
