WHY ORGANIC COTTON IS BETTER THAN STANDARD COTTON
Certified Organic Cotton consumes less water compared to conventional cotton. Being certified organic also means that no harmful inorganic pesticides and fertilizers were used, meaning there is little to no water pollution. You conserve water AND keep ground water and surface water safer every time you choose organic.
Conventional cotton, on the other hand, requires a huge amount of fertilizers, water and pesticides, resulting in water pollution, soil organism and nutrient disruption, harm to good insects as well as bad, too much nitrogen in the water and possible residue on the clothes you wear or the items you use from it.
