The Range

Baby golf clothes

The smallest version of the range: a fine jersey bodysuit, a soft toddler tee, a fleece hoodie with no drawstrings at the hood or neck, and a crew built for the wash. Each carries the same small embroidered mark as the men's.

How to choose for a baby or toddler

Golf clothing glossary
  1. Sizing by age, not by number

Baby sizes run by month (12M to 24M) and toddler sizes by year with a T (2T to 5T). Both are a rough guide to age rather than a measurement, so check the chart against something that already fits. If you are between, the larger size buys another season.

  2. Getting it on and off

Lap shoulders and a three-snap closure are the two details that matter on a bodysuit: the neck opens wide and changes do not become a wrestle.

  3. No drawstrings

Cords at the hood or neck of children's clothing are a strangulation hazard, and US rules keep them off garments up to size 12. The Fairway Hoodie has none.

  4. Cotton against new skin

Combed ring-spun cotton is a smoother, finer yarn than standard cotton, which is worth more on a baby than on an adult.

  5. As a gift

A bodysuit or a toddler tee is the easiest gift for a golfer who has just had a child: one small mark, nothing loud, nothing to guess at but the size.

Baby: questions, fit and care

What sizes does the baby range come in?

The bodysuit is 12M, 18M and 24M. The Little Ninth Tee is 2T to 5T, the Fairway Hoodie 2T to 5-6T, and the Kids Crew 2 to 7. There is no newborn or 0-3M size: our maker does not stock one in any brand, and the 6M that exists is out of stock in every colour.

Does the hoodie have drawstrings?

No. Cords at the hood or neck are a strangulation hazard on children's clothing and US rules keep them off garments up to size 12. There are none on the Fairway Hoodie.

Is the mark embroidered?

Yes, the same small embroidered mark as the men's range, stitched after you order and sized for a smaller chest.
