Gifts for golfers: what to give and how to get the size right

No sizing needed#
A golf towel or a one-size knit toque is the safest gift when you don't know someone's size. Both get used every round in the right season.
Getting the size right#
For a polo or a layer, borrow a shirt that fits them well, lay it flat and measure straight across the chest, 1 inch below the armholes. Compare that number with the garment chart, or use the fit finder on each product page. For a fitted cap, a quick head measurement is more reliable than guessing.
Timing#
Made-to-order gifts take about 3 to 7 business days to ship, plus transit. Order at least two weeks before a birthday, and earlier still for the holidays, when carriers are busiest.
