What made to order means for your golf clothes

Most clothing is made months ahead, shipped to a warehouse and sold off over a season, with whatever is left marked down. Made to order works the other way round: nothing is made until someone orders it.

How an order is made

When you order, the blank garment in your color and size is picked, the Ninth mark is embroidered (or, on the towel, printed) for you in the USA, and the piece is packed and shipped. Most orders ship in about 3 to 7 business days, then travel by tracked carrier.

Why we do it

There is no warehouse of unsold stock, so there is nothing to clear and no end-of-season sale built into the price. It also means we can offer more colors and sizes than a small brand could afford to stock.

What it means for you

Delivery takes a little longer than a warehouse order, so order a week or two ahead of an event. Returns and exchanges work the same as anywhere else: 30 days on unworn items with tags. Size up or down with the fit finder on each product page before you order and you are unlikely to need either.
