The golf trip packing list
Illustrative imageThe best golf trips are the ones where you never think about your clothes. Pack by rounds, not days, and you will have what you need without a second bag.
Count your rounds#
Pack one polo per round, plus one spare. Polos are the easiest piece to rewear for dinner, so you rarely need extras for the evening.
One layer, one hat for every forecast#
Bring one mid layer, such as a half-zip, even for a warm destination: early tee times and air-conditioned clubhouses are cool. Pack a cap for sun and, for spring or fall trips, a knit toque that takes no space at all.
The things people forget#
A golf towel, spare gloves, tees and ball markers, sunscreen, a belt, and the charger for your rangefinder or watch. If your group is matching shirts for the trip, order them well ahead: made-to-order pieces take about 3 to 7 business days to ship.
